Kelrodis
Kelrodis is a web-guidance portal for older people: clear, large type, trusted links and help finding your way on the internet. Built responsibly, together with the community.
The internet is full of traps: fake buttons, scam letters, confusing menus. Kelrodis will be a quiet, tidy starting point that is safe to begin from.
Who it is for
Older people who want to use the internet without fear — and their families, who want to help parents or grandparents cope with the digital world.
What it can do
Planned — the portal is in development.
- Large, clear type and a calm layout — nothing blinking.
- A trusted-links collection: health, banks, public services, news — every entry checked by a human.
- Plain explanations of what is what online: email, online banking, e-health.
- Scam warnings in plain language.
Principles
- Nothing is sold and nothing is pushed on you.
- Written for people, not for search engines.
- Safe matters more than plenty.
